The New Mexico Federation of Democratic Women (NMFDW) held the second of its two annual meetings at the Sky Acoma Pueblo on October 20th through 21st. A number of us attended and were treated to Indigenous dress, dancing, and singing from the first pueblo based Federation in the nation, Laguna Pueblo. We are proud to add that our very own Julia Brown was elected President of NMFDW.
